During the sweltering heat of Hong Kong’s mid-summer, CQR Taipei was battling to fulfill a perishables shipment of cakes on behalf of the Peninsula Hotel for annual holidays including the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Shipping perishables is a risky business and it certainly was for CQR Taipei who, due to the extreme heat, were forced to reduce the packing time to the bare minimum. Against the clock, the cakes were successfully loaded into a 100cm x 100cm x 110cm x 160cm pallet, 280kgs in 3 x 40’RF for their journey with the carrier TS Line to Taipei.
