Domax Logistics, Conqueror member in Ningbo, China, has recently handled a cargo of fresh strawberries from Hangzhou, China, to Jakarta, Indonesia, via Shanghai Pudong International Airport to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport using China Eastern Airlines.

The shipment had to be meticulously packed in foam boxes with dimension of 61*52*37 cm. Moreover the cargo was palletized to ensure the protection of the goods.

Bruce Li, General Manager of Domax Logistics, talked about their company’s commitment to quality and efficiency while shipping perishable cargo. “For these kinds of goods, we make sure to arrange for faster flights and consider direct services as a priority. Additionally we use dry ice or blue ice to maintain the cool temperature and even rent RAP or RKN containers when necessary,” he explained.

The transportation was conducted by air at normal temperatures during the flight, while the product was stored in cold temperature (2-8℃) in both the origin and destination warehouses.
