Conqueror Ahmedabad Successfully Sends an International Shipment of Windmill Blades by Ocean Freight

The shipment weighing 189 metric tonnes was moved from Tuticorin, India, to Brownsville, USA

HTL Logistics India Pvt Ltd, Conqueror member in Ahmedabad, India, has successfully managed the transportation of nine sets of windmill blades from Tuticorin, India, to Brownsville, USA. The complex sea freight project, showcased the company’s capability to handle large-scale, project cargo operations.

The shipment involved transporting windmill blades measuring 61.8 meters each, with a total gross weight of 189 metric tons. They offloaded the blades at Tuticorin Port before the vessel’s arrival. The chosen vessel for this operation, PAC Canopus, berthed at VOC Tuticorin Port Berth No. 3, was prepared for loading after the completion of customs formalities.

Furthermore, using a derrick crane, the team picked up the blades from the transport vehicles and placed them on the vessel’s deck. They conducted the loading process with precision to ensure the safe handling of the cargo. Once on deck, the crew members and port staff securely lashed the blades, ensuring their stability during the sea voyage.

The vessel loading was completed seamlessly, and after a thorough customs inspection, the vessel departed from VOC Tuticorin Port, en route to Brownsville, USA.
