Conqueror Casablanca teams up with Conqueror Genoa/Venice for moving a project cargo shipment

They moved the shipment via ocean freight from Italy to Morocco

Locofreight, Conqueror member in Casablanca, Morocco, has hauled a project cargo shipment in collaboration with Sev Stante Overseas SRL, Conqueror member in Genoa and Venice. They transported the shipment consisting of a machinery from Italy to Morocco via an MSC vessel. Additionally, Locofreight was also responsible for lashing and securing the cargo.

They moved the cargo in 3X40’ Open Tops, 1X20’ Open Top & 1X40’ Flat Rack OOG. Moreover, they had to hire low-bed trucks to haul the cargo to/from the ports.

As stated by Mr. Sami Atik, General Manager of Locofreight, “Finding the right equipment and shipping this OOG cargo on the right vessel proved to be a challenging task. Nevertheless, our team has a passion and determination for providing our clients and partners with an unbeatable service. Of course this shipment was no exception. Conqueror Chengdu redesigns their website to make it more user friendly

Although the website address is intact, their revamped website includes several new features that add to the convenience of the users

While their old web address has remained intact, the content, looks, and functionalities of the website have vastly improved. It comes with new functional modules, a better layout, and many new things for the customers to explore.

Additionally, apart from Chinese and English, the audience will now be able to view their website in Spanish. The new website of Conqueror Chengdu also comes with a cargo tracking feature. Conqueror Ljubljana completes three decades in the industry!

The company that was founded in 1992 has come a long way in the last 30 years and grown into an international company offering end-to-end logistics solutions

From humble beginnings with four employees, they have gradually grown into a modern international company with fourteen employees. They weren’t able to celebrate due to COVID19 restrictions. Nevertheless, they are looking forward to celebrating their anniversary later this year.

Their latest achievement was to obtain the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certificate. Moreover, they are one of the few freight agencies in Slovenia to acquire this certification on the top-level – AEO F (combined AEO C + AEO S). As a result, they are offering faster customs clearances and quicker handling of requests and goods.

Conqueror Genoa/Venice successfully handles an OOG cargo weighing over 200 tonnes

The shipment that consisted of two heavy presses from the ceramic industry was transported from China to Germany

Sev Stante Overseas SRL, Conqueror member in Genoa and Venice, Italy, recently moved an OOG shipment of two heavy presses. They transported the machinery weighing 102 tonnes each from Guangzhou, China, to Leipzig, Germany. They required break bulk service and FCL service for moving the presses.

Conqueror Genoa & Venice used 3 x 40 HC and 1 x 20 containers for transporting this OOG cargo. Furthermore, they required a special truck with 7 axle lines and a length of 19.70 metres. They also had to hire the largest crane for lifting the heavy machinery.

To quote Mr. Riccardo Stocco, the Managing Director of Sev Stante, “Probably, the most challenging aspect of this project was finding a break bulk departure vessel to accept this heavy cargo and pick up the presses 40 days before the vessel departure. However, as a company with nearly 50 years of experience in international forwarding, our expert team managed to deliver the cargo to its destination on time.”

Conqueror Barcelona saves a life by moving an urgent shipment of bone marrow

They shipped the bone marrow required for a transplant by air from Spain to Germany

Airtransa SA, Conqueror member in Barcelona, Spain, has recently moved a lifesaving shipment consisting of human bone marrow. They transported the delicate shipment via air freight from Barcelona to Frankfurt, Germany. The sensitive cargo was sent from the United States to Valencia, Spain, for additional treatment. Afterward, it was sent from Valencia to Madrid by an exclusive truck. Finally, from Madrid, Airtransa exported it to Frankfurt via Barcelona by air.

The shipment required a lot of effort on the part of CQR Barcelona who had to coordinate with different parties like the carrier, terminal, airline, etc. Additionally, they had to confirm with the terminal to not x-ray the cargo because of its delicate nature. For this, they had to obtain a letter from the clinic declaring the sensitivity of the cargo before requesting exemption from an x-ray.

As stated by Dimos Economeas, the Business Development Manager of Airtransa, “It was a complicated operation in terms of timing as there were too many things to consider. Nevertheless, we made it happen! We are delighted to have successfully executed a shipment that could potentially save a life.”

Conqueror Freight Network is presently offering an online certificate that corroborates the membership of the network agents. They have made available this online certificate to provide better accessibility to the network’s intranet from where members can obtain the soft copy of this certification. Precisely for this reason, Conqueror’s IT team has put together a new section in their intranet. The online certification also comes with the date when the network accepted the member.
