Conqueror London opens a temperature controlled warehouse

This warehouse will primarily be used for live animals shipments and for any other cargo requiring the maintenance of set temperatures

Brooklands International Freight Services Ltd, Conqueror member in London, United Kingdom, has opened up a new temperature-controlled warehouse. Their new warehouse is located at London Heathrow Airport. The air-conditioned warehouse has four separate temperature-controlled internal rooms that are not chilled but 10 degrees up. Besides, each of these rooms have individual settings. Each room can hold 2 PAG sized airline pallets. Additionally, they have handling facilities allowing them to build or break down airline pallets of cargo.

The rooms are ideal for live animals or other cargo requiring set temperatures to be maintained. As stated by Dennis O’Driscoll, the Managing Director of CQR London, “We also have a temperature-controlled roller bed truck capable of carrying 2 airline pallets so we can now deliver cargo at required temperature to the airlines nearby. This is in addition to our standard warehouse in Redhill near Gatwick Airport and London area. CQR Sydney relaunches their website to make it more modern and user-friendly

They have also changed location to Preston, NSW, near the depot in Sydney which positions them closer to the logistics

Phoenix Freight Systems, a Conqueror member in Sydney, Australia, has relaunched their website and moved to a new location to be closer to the freight. As stated by Allison Harrington, Sales and Marketing Executive of CQR Sydney, “As an independent freight forwarder with over three decades of experience we wanted our customers, no matter where in the world, to be able to visit and access information without difficulty. This is why we have created a new website to make it more modern and user friendly for our customers.”

The main feature that has changed compared to the old website, is the introduction of categorized services linking to direct and relevant information. Airsea International starts operating three new warehouses

The warehouses of Airsea come with 24×7 security, alarm, telemonitoring system and security agent intervention ensuring complete safety of their clients’ goods

Airsea International, Conqueror member in Paris, Toulouse, Marseille, Lyon and Havre, France, has opened three new warehouses. One of their warehouses is located very close to Charles de Gaulle Airport while the other two are located less than 10 km away in Goussainville. The first warehouse in Roissy has a storage area of 1800 sq m. The other two in Goussainville have a storage area of 1700 sq m and 1800 sq m respectively. All the three warehouses are equipped with 24×7 security, telemonitoring system, and security agent intervention to ensure total security of their clients’ shipments.

Conqueror Jeddah takes over MJ Heavy Lifts to bolster their Heavy Lifts Department

They created a new department called ‘ALS Heavy Lifts’ to better cope with their increasing volume of heavy lift cargo projects

Global Union Alliance Company, Conqueror member in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, has merged with MJ Heavy Lifts on the 1st of January 2021. Their new division called “ALS Heavy Lifts” will henceforth be working on an increasing number of heavy lift cargo projects.

Their journey began in 2009 and later they expanded their operations across diversified sectors including oil & gas, HVAC services, contracting, etc, with the aim to offer value added service for their clients in Jeddah and beyond.

The modernization of Conqueror’s intranet will help to transform the Members Area into a more useful space for the agents. “In keeping with the digital strategy Conqueror has adopted for the last two years, we have redesigned our format for enhancing traceability and the use of the intranet,” says Antonio Torres, the President and Founder of Conqueror Freight Network.

Furthermore, they have also made two important additions to the Members Area. Additionally, from now on, new members will be welcomed through an online tour reception. This tour will be performed by a member of the team. Conqueror members band together for the air shipment of an Environtainer RKN t2

The shipment which was moved from Amsterdam to Shanghai contained chemicals under temperature control conditions

GDF Netherlands BV, Conqueror member in Amsterdam, Netherlands, joined forces with C-Log Worldwide, Conqueror member in Rotterdam, Netherlands, to move an Environtainer RKN t2 from Amsterdam to Shanghai, China. The Environtainer which contained chemicals weighed 550 kg and had dimensions of 120 x 100 x 120 cms.

As stated by Inver Gase, the Managing Director of GDF Netherlands,“The Airline did a fine job and the container reached Shanghai Pudong Airport within just 24 hours. The most difficult part of this project was getting the drum security screened for which we were required to run an x-ray layer by layer.”

The pallet was loaded into the Environtainer which was moved in a temperature-controlled bunker compartment with dry-ice. “In order to ensure the safe delivery of the goods that require a very specific temperature control, you need to count with reliable partners. That is why, we are glad to have collaborated with C-Log Worldwide, since by working together, we arranged this shipment seamlessly”.

Following the merger that came into effect three years ago, the name of their company has been officially changed to Emons Air & Sea, LLC

Global Fairways LLC, Conqueror member in Detroit, USA, changes their name to Emons Air & Sea LLC following the acquisition that took place in 2018. They have also changed their email address and website name although their previous email ids and web domain will continue to work for some time.

Conqueror Alexandria sends out a multimodal shipment requiring Relative Humidity units during the grapes season in Egypt

With their newly opened air freight department, the Falcon team has already successfully worked on several significant projects

Falcon Freight Group, Conqueror member in Alexandria, Egypt, has recently handled a multimodal shipment containing IMO chemical materials from Egypt to Nairobi, which required units to control both the humidity and the temperature during the whole delivery. They counted on the cooperation of Sevenstars, Conqueror member at Mombasa, Kenya, for the last-mile delivery of this shipment. Falcon Freight was in charge of various aspects of the shipment including trucking, clearance, packing, and lashing.

In the last few months, they handled two OOG shipments consisting of pipes and tanks. The tank was moved from Rotterdam to Egypt while the pipes were shipped from Egypt to France. They also handled the movement of a multimodal shipment of an equipment from France to Egypt via Italy. Apart from this Conqueror Alexandria shipped a special equipment from Rotterdam to Egypt and handled the door to door transfer of flexi tanks that were staffed and cleared at the Egyptian dry ports.
