Blink Logistics, Conqueror Juba (South Sudan) and Kampala (Uganda), is now handling the movement of goods for the expansion project of Entebbe International Airport, Uganda. Furthermore, they are also acting as the logistics operator for the 51 Km Expressway which has been funded by the Chinese government. As stated by Barbara Nakandi Ampereza, Principal Commercial Executive of Blink Logistics, “The Entebbe airport expansion project is funded by the EXIM Bank and our company is in charge of transporting the shipments from Mombasa port to Entebbe. We are also handling air freight shipments through the Entebbe airport,”

China Communications Construction Company which is a Chinese multinational engineering company, contacted Blink Logistics for handling these special projects. The Express Highway project at Kampala is also funded by the Republic of China through EXIM Bank. “The Express Highway project is still underway and we intend to do our job successfully until the project completion. The fact that we have been chosen as one of the logistical service provider for China Communications Construction Company has indeed elevated our status as one of the top logistics companies in Juba and Kampala.” states Barbara.

Conqueror Ulaanbaatar creates a modern and well equipped warehouse

This 3000 square meters warehouse is the recent addition to their warehouse facilities which cover a total area of 3.5 hectares in Bayangol district

Tuushin LLC, the Conqueror member in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, has added to their existing warehouse facilities by creating a 3000 square meters warehouse. The new warehouse is equipped with all the modern amenities such as fire extinguisher sprinkler system and electrical and thermal heating. “We are providing services like distribution, delivery, storage, loading, unloading, sticking labels and tags on goods, customs clearance and much more from our warehouse facilities.” says Mr. Bayarsaikhan Lunden, the Director of the Sales Department of Tuushin LLC.

Tuushin LLC presently has a total of 8778 square meters of customs bonded warehouse space. Mr. Lunden adds, “Our terminal and logistics center has 10 well equipped warehouses. Our operations are held on 3.5 hectares of area in Bayangol district. Being the very first international freight forwarders from our country, we aim to contribute vastly to the innovation in logistical processes and the development of our nation.”

Conqueror Itajai moves a cargo of two turbines from Brazil to Europe

The two turbines which weighed 20.29 tons in total were safely transported to the destination within just two and three days respectively

Quantum Logistics, Conqueror member in Itajai, Brazil, has recently handled the transportation of two turbines used in Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircrafts. One turbine which weighed 11 tons had a dimension of 500 x 325 x 309 cm while the second turbine weighing 9.29 tons measured 590 x 260 x 260 cm. The entire shipment which was sent out by air freight took a total of 5 days to reach the consignee in Europe.

Conqueror Cairo delivers a sensitive and high-value shipment

MGL Cargo Services was in charge of all port and custom related formalities, and port handling in Alexandria

MGL Cargo Services, the Conqueror member in Cairo, Egypt has recently moved a highly sensitive and high-value shipment to a special security site in the Desert Road of Alexandria. The most sensitive and valuable piece of cargo which weighed 24,000 Kg was moved in a 1x 40’ roll-trailer. A generator weighing 15,200 kg and a chiller weighing 6,200 kg were loaded onto 2 x 40’ FR, OH and 2 buffer tanks weighing 1,200 kg each were loaded in one 40’ flat rack container.

The trucks in which the cargo was moved were equipped with GPS and live tracking facilities and throughout the journey, the cargo was closely attended by Special Armed forces. “The entire volume of the shipment was accommodated on 3 low bed + 2 trailers while arrangements were made for special lashing and security belts were provided. Our team was in charge of port handling in Alexandria, truck transport up to the site, all related port and customs formalities and supervision of the process of unloading and installation on the site of delivery.” says Mr. Marc Gharabawi, the Executive Director of MGL Cargo Services.

The updated CQR brochure for Incoterms 2020 offers a chart elucidating the liabilities of exporters and importers in international trade

Conqueror has updated and uploaded a brochure of Incoterms 2020 containing the most recent version of the Incoterms rules launched by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) which has come into effect from 1st January 2020. The Conqueror Incoterms brochure has been modernised with a fresh and simplified design so that members can easily share it with their clients and partners.

The Incoterms rules were first listed down back in 1936 by ICC to create a set of globally accepted rules and definitions with regards to delivery of goods among trading partners all over the world. Since then these rules have been periodically amended and the Incoterms 2020 rules come with detailed notes and graphs illustrating the liabilities of exporters and importers for each of the Incoterms rule.

As explained by Mr. John WH Denton AO, the Secretary General of Incoterms, “Incoterms 2020 rules make business work for everyone by facilitating trillions of dollars in global trade annually. On the occasion of the inauguration of the new A350 aircraft to Cairo, Air France/ KLM conducted an event where they shared this list of the Top Ten Cargo Agents in Egypt. The new A350 aircraft is offering 7 PMCs with an average of 25 tons per flight.

Conqueror Bangalore successfully moves a cargo consisting of arms and ammunition in Nepal for a United Nations project

A part of the shipment was transported to Nepal while the rest was delivered to the armed police unit in Shillong, India

The complex project included the delivery of hazardous cargo consisting of arms and ammunition in the difficult mountainous terrain of Nepal. The other shipment included vehicles, generators, and trailers which totalled 84 units to be delivered to the armed police unit in Shillong, India. In the words of Mr. Sushil Gupta, the Chairman and Managing Director of Atlas Shipping Services, “This has been a very significant project for our company especially considering the fact that this challenging project was entrusted to our team by the United Nations!”
