Last January, our CQR member in Lisbon, Incotrans, transported a 6-metre-tall and 3 diameters cargo from Lisbon to Luanda. In order to execute this delivery, they first selected special road transport to move the load from the shipper warehouse at Aveiro to Leixões (around 80 Km).
Afterwards, they used a Portuguese Shipping line to move the freight from Leixões Port to Luanda.
Finally, they arranged a special crane to unload the cargo from the vessel and deliver it to the cnee plant.
Excellent job Incotrans!

The huge steam boiler (7,850mm x 3,075mm x 3,230mm in size and 28 tons in weight) plus a 20′ dv SOC containing spare parts where shipped from Piraeus shore using a barge/service boat. Unusual means of transport, you will say, but if I tell you that the delivery had to be done at the anchorage area of Piraeus port, then everything falls in place!
With over ten years of experience in international trade (collaborating with shipping companies, aeronautical and forwarders; organizing efficient transportation of goods in import and export shipments in every mode of transportation), maintenance of Key Performance Indicators has been part of her activities during her career to continually improve and develop an efficient logistics process.
