Conqueror Freight Network turned 10 in 2021. The network celebrated this special occasion during its 2nd Virtual Meeting. Moreover, Conqueror screened a special commemorative video of all the highlights of the Annual Meetings in the last 10 years. Conqueror started its journey in 2011 with members in 47 cities and now it has come up as the largest exclusive international freight forwarders network with over 260 members across 137 countries. “I have been a member of Conqueror since 2011 and have seen it grow. The video played at the Event was very heart-warming. It made me remember all the good moments we have had at the Meetings, the friends we have met there and all the work and efforts we made along these years”, says one of the Conqueror members.
Conqueror was launched back in 2011 as an exclusive network for freight forwarders. Since then, it has been helping independent freight forwarders to effectively compete against the largest multinationals of this sector. The network started its operations with 47 cities in 33 countries. Presently it has more than 260 members across 137 countries, becoming the largest exclusive international freight forwarders network.
To quote Antonio Torres, “We have come a long way since the foundation of our network. All these years, we have grown together, expanded our business, established long-term relationships, being present in 10 editions of Virtual and Annual Meetings. Conqueror’s 2nd Virtual Meeting
Conqueror’s custom-made meeting platform allowed each delegate to schedule a maximum of 28 videoconferences with their international logistics partners. Members got to schedule a total of 1680 videoconferences. Additionally, this year, the participants got the option of accessing a chat room with up to 5 random partners. The friendly chitchats further fostered the connections among network members.
The delegates also attended the FreightViewer workshops held during the online conference. Andrea Martin, Conqueror’s FreightViewer coordinator showcased the several utilities of Conqueror’s member-exclusive TMS.
“One of the Conqueror’s biggest achievements in the last ten years is the creation of our own digital freight quote generation platform. We are the first international network with global coverage to launch instant quoting ability for our members, through FreightViewer. We always strive for more and better services, in order to provide members with the most innovative and unique benefits. Conqueror’s 2nd Virtual Meeting is all set to take place on the 29th and 30th November on our bespoke meeting platform. The cloud conference will bring together network members from over 50 territories on one platform for increasing the number of concerted projects within the network.
The online one-to-one videoconferences that constitutes the core of the event will result in productive communication among the delegates. During the time of the pandemic, this is the only way to do the groundwork for several collaborative projects in the coming months. After their merger with Shenzhen Yee Zhan Yuan and with CIMC Logistics Group, they renamed their company
ADS Logistics, Conqueror member in Chengdu, China, is now known as CIMC ANDA SHUN International Logistics Co.,Ltd Chengdu Branch. Their merger with two freight forwarding companies Shenzhen Yee Zhan Yuan and CMIC Logistics Group necessitated the change of name.
Conqueror Chengdu changes its name
ADS Logistics merged with Shenzhen Yee Zhan to have better management and resources sharing. Moreover, ADS Group also obtained the strategic corporate inversion of CIMC Logistics Group. The merger has come into effect from 1st November 2021. They will handle all projects with fellow Conqueror members under this new name.
“With over a decade of experience in this industry, we rank among the top 100 freight forwarding companies in China. Our recent mergers will help us further cement our position as the most competent logistics service provider in Chengdu and beyond,” says Mr. Ricky Wang, the General Manager of Conqueror Chengdu.

They are presently investing in a 4-star resort in a hill station in Southern India
Vestal Shipping and Logistics LLC, Conqueror member in Muscat and Sohar, Oman, has invested in building a 4-star hotel. This hotel is located in Munnar, Southern India. Munnar is a hill station in Kerala famous for its green rolling hills and tea gardens. In the words of Raj Nair, the Director of Vestal Shipping, “We inaugurated the property on the 20th August. The opening ceremony which was attended by many of my industry peers went exceedingly well. Additionally, I want to take this opportunity to thank all my partners, associates and clients for their blessing and constant support.””
Wolkenburg Resort & Spa is a 4-star resort located on a hilltop where the weather is always pleasant. Moreover, the fantastic natural view and the misty mountains make it an ideal spot for a vacation. It comes with 32 rooms with a combination of royal suites, villas, and rooms with views.

Conqueror Antwerp moves an artwork by by Antony Gormley
Van Moer Logistics, Conqueror member in Antwerp, Belgium, has recently transported an artwork shipment from the UK to France. The artwork by Antony Gormley called SITE will be permanently installed in the mountains in L’Aiguillon, in La Meije France. The intention of the installation is to celebrate life, love and friendship and offer something to inspire the local community.
The statue made out of cast iron weighed 915 kg. Conqueror Antwerp airlifted the sculpture and transported it safely to the mountains in La Grave.
“We are proud to be in charge of this prestigious project involving the movement of this acclaimed sculpture. Moreover, I want to extend my thanks to CBI Global, our Conqueror partner in Manchester, who cooperated with us in every step of the process,” says Frank Van Geijt, the Commercial Manager of Van Moer Forwarding.
According to the sculptor Antony Gormley, this sculpture is an attempt to materialize the love for the mountains. It will face the mountains across the valley. Moreover, it will be visible from all the nearby villages. He hopes that the artwork will become a centre of gravity for the local communities in the area.

The shipment which was meant for the mining industry was moved from Guinea to Mauritania via sea freight
Acconage Consignation Transit SA (ACT SA), Conqueror member in Nouakchott, Mauritania, moves an ocean freight shipment for the mining industry. They transported 168 units of trucks, trailers, military equipment, excavators, and other rolling materials from Boke Port, Guinea, to Nouakchott Port, Mauritania. They used an MV Orient Pluto vessel for transporting the cargo. The cargo was meant for the mining sector specifically for the offshore gas field rocks transportation for BP Tortue. The BP Tortue project is a cooperation project between the governments of Mauritania and Senegal.
Conqueror Nouakchott moves a ocean freight shipment for the mining industry
They were responsible for the entire logistic chain from vessel arrival until the final delivery of 168 units. Although they have experience in handling similar projects, the massive volume and diverse nature of the shipment made it somewhat challenging. As stated by Mr. Khalil Chouaib from ACT, “The most difficult aspect of this shipment was that we had to ensure that the 168 units were delivered in intact condition. This also included the spare parts loaded inside some units.”
They did not use any special equipment for delivering this shipment. “Firstly, I would like to thank my teammates for seamlessly moving this complicated cargo. We also had to take the shipment from under the hook, and take care of lashing and warehousing. Additionally, we did the customs clearance and moved the cargo via trucks to the consignee’s site 60 Km from Nouakchott Port,” adds Mr. Chouaib.
