Conqueror launches a new web app for their upcoming Annual Meeting

This new smart phone compatible web application will help members to effectively navigate through the agenda of Conqueror’s 9th Annual Meeting in February

Conqueror Freight Network has created a new website application that will allow the agents to seamlessly access every detail of the meeting once they reach the venue. Conqueror’s 9th Annual Meeting will take place in the Intercontinental Hotel in Doha, Qatar, from 6th to 8th February 2023.

On reaching the meeting venue, members can use this web app from their phone and log in by entering their email and password. With the help of this web application,Conqueror members will be able to browse through all the required information pertaining to the day-to-day agenda of the Annual Meeting. Moreover, this web app will place every detail about the event at their fingertips including the delegate list with the name of every delegate and the city and company they are representing, the programme and activities, some tips for travelling to Doha, etc.

“We have created this new smart phone compatible web app to make the event simple and hassle-free for all our delegates. Additionally, this portal will help to collate all the important information in a comprehensive web app allowing our delegates to access every meeting information with just a few taps on their phones. We make sure to enhance our services in every possible way to offer the best experience for our members and I am sure that this app will precisely serve this purpose,” says Maria Serrano, the PR and Event Coordinator of Conqueror Freight Network.

Conqueror Freight Network which is gearing up for its 9th Annual Meeting in 2023, has had a highly productive year achieving many new milestones

Conqueror Freight Network, the largest exclusive freight forwarding network in the world, is about to welcome the New Year on a high note. 2022 has been a very constructive one for the network in terms of growth and accomplishments.

In March 2022, Conqueror launched its Online Academy to offer the members comprehensive freight forwarding courses. The courses provided by CIFFA are ideal for updating the knowledge in the freight forwarding sector and being well-informed about all the nuances of the logistics industry. Conqueror has partnered with internationally recognized institutes of international trade and freight forwarding to provide a wide range of Freight Forwarding Courses. The first one is CIFFA (the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association) and the second one is Container Xchange.

“In a volatile and complex industry like transportation and logistics, continuous training is not just important, it is imperative. Apart from enhancing the career of the participants, it will also enable them to grow and sharpen our members’ professional skills. Additionally, our logistics courses will surely help our agents to create a resilient team of professionals who can easily adapt to the changing requirements of the industry,” says Antonio Torres, the President and Founder of Conqueror Freight Network.

Furthermore, Conqueror enhanced their presence on social media by creating an Instagram handle. “These days the audience is more reliant on audio-visual platforms like Instagram for their daily dose of news and this is precisely why Conqueror has decided to be active on this platform.”

2022 has also been marked by the intervention of Andrea Martin, Conqueror’s FreightViewer Coordinator, who participated in the Roundtable Panel Discussions in the Logistics Business Show, that took place from 15th to 17th March.

Lastly, Conqueror’s IT Department is working on two different web apps that will be launched in 2023, in order to facilitate members the access to all the Meeting features and the Directory of members.

“Our team has been working all around the year to ensure an optimal experience for our members. Additionally, after a two years hiatus, we have once again been able to organize an in-person meeting in Doha, in February 2023. Therefore, we are trying hard to make sure that our agents get to enhance their partnerships and have an unparalleled networking experience!” adds Mr Torres.

 

 

Conqueror Panama City moves 30 ambulances with a net weight of 93,000 kg

They moved this cargo from Osaka, Japan, all the way to Manzanillo, Panama, via ocean freight

Panama Soluciones Logisticas INT, Conqueror member in Panama City, Panama, recently transported 30 ambulances from Osaka, Japan, to Manzanillo, Panama. This shipment had a volume of 593 cubic meters and a total weight of 93,000 Kg. They were in charge of transportation and customs clearance of the cargo. Moreover, they had to make the delivery within a very short time.

As stated by Luis Carlos Bustamante, the Manager of Panama Soluciones Logisticas, “Moving a shipment of 30 ambulance type vehicles was a demanding project that required meticulous planning and attention to detail. Conqueror’s 9th Annual Meeting will include a group tour with the delegates on 6th February 2023

This day trip in and around Doha will allow the members to to socialize in a comfortable and friendly environment before commencing the formal business meetings

Conqueror Freight Network’s 9th Annual Meeting at Doha, Qatar, to be held from 6th to 8th February 2023, will include an option group tour for the delegates and their spouses. This group tour will take the members for a desert safari ride to the picturesque sand dunes near the inland sea close to Doha.

The Day Trip will start on 6th February at 9 am. Members will be able to go for an adventurous dune bashing ride while enjoying the breathtaking view of the desert and the sea. Following the ride, members will be lunching and resting at a camp equipped with traditional Bedouin style tents. There is also the option of participating in sporting and swimming activities at the comfortable beach side camp. Members will be dropped to the hotel premises at 17:00 so that they have time for the on desk registration and attend the Welcome Cocktail reception.

Conqueror Chengdu’s parent company celebrates their 40th Anniversary on the CIMC Day

To commemorate their foundation day they organized the ‘CIMC Day’-  a common festival for all CIMC staffs from all over the world

CIMC Anda Shun, Conqueror member in Chengdu, China, has celebrated the 40 years of the CIMC Group in the freight forwarding market. They celebrated their foundation day as the “CIMC Day” on 22nd September when employees across all their offices raised a flag to express their solidarity and their determination to move forward through the thick and thin in the years ahead. The ”CIMC Day”, is a common festival for all CIMC employees.

Conqueror establishes a media partnership with The Maritime Standards Awards

The Maritime Standard Award, an industry-defining award ceremony in the transportation and logistics sector of the Middle East and India

Conqueror Freight Network has established a media partnership with The Maritime Standard (TMS) Award. This Award’s Conference is one of the most notable logistics events that brings together the industry’s important decision-makers from across the Middle East, the Indian Subcontinent and beyond.

The award ceremony will take place at The Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai, on Tuesday, 15th of November, 2022.  The event will have as its guests, some of the most important policy setters and decision-makers from across the Middle East and India. The day after the awards, November 16th, TMS will hold its annual Tanker Conference, with a stellar line of speakers already confirmed. Attendees will include representatives from all of the major tanker owners and operators, many of whom will also attend the TMS Awards.

TMS will give out the awards in 29 different categories. Clive Woodbridge the Editor of The Maritime Standard, will chair the panel of judges. Additionally, the other members of the judging panel, are also experienced leaders in their respective fields. Conqueror Panama City obtains recertification of their ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System

ISO 9001:2015 is a global quality management standard that outlines a framework for enhancing quality for companies looking to offer best in class products and services

As an IATA-approved logistics company with two decades of market experience, the renewal of this accreditation will further elevate its brand image. Moreover, obtaining this re-certification of quality is a sign of the commitment of the company’s senior management and collaborators.  Since its foundation, CQR Panama has been providing value-added services to its clients, and partners allowing all parties involved to continue with the constant improvement process.
