Conqueror Beijing becomes a top player in the China-Europe rail freight services

Throughout 2020 they have moved a considerable volume of rail freight from China to several countries in the EU

JCT (China) Co. Ltd, Conqueror member in Beijing, China, is taking the lead in the China Europe rail freight service. All through the year, they have transported several shipments including PPE cargo from China to many European countries. Until now they have moved almost 100×40’ for EB service from Europe to China, and 120×40’ for WB from China to Europe.

They have shipped around 21x 40 containers for two lots of masks and protective gowns from China to Moscow, Russia. “The China-Europe rail service has allowed us to offer speedy and cost effective transportation solutions and in last year, our team has become veritable experts in railway transport services. The rail freight between China and Europe is quickly increasing and we still have lots of containers and waiting for space in the trains,”says Mr. Jeff Zhang, the Managing Director of JCT.

CQR Munich and Stuttgart starts operating charter flights for the distribution of masks and PPE

They already moved 20 million masks with 7 charter flights from China in April and plans to operate 6 such flights in May

Emons Air & Sea GMBH, Conqueror member in Munich and Stuttgart, Germany, has started to charter flights for the movement of masks and PPEs.

Mr. Hans Bayer the Prokurist of Emons Air & Sea GMBH states “The tremendously rising demand for protective clothing and masks and the lack of regular flight traffic between China and Europe has prompted us to start operating charter flights”.

In total, Emons team has been able to move 1100 cbm and approximately 20 million masks, in just three weeks: “COVID19 has affected every one of us, privately and economically and extraordinary times require innovative solutions. In April we successfully operated 7 charter flights- 6 x B767 PAX, including on seat cabin load and one B777-200 PAX including cabin load, but with seats removed. That is why, we are very satisfied with the provided services and we expect it to increase more in the following months.” continues Mr Bayer.

In  May, they are planning to take their service to a next level and supply CQR partners with a well-established service for five additional flights. “We have excellent possibilities for on carriage with our Emons organisation, so if any of our members have any inquiries, we will be happy to assist them.” states Mr. Bayer.

CQR agent in Hangzhou encourages all members to use FreightViewer in order to develop good and quality business between agents

After the launch of Conqueror’s exclusive Transport Management Software, FreightViewer Department has been receiving plenty of applications from our members to test the software and suggest its improvements. Bruce Li, General Manager of Domax Logistics, our CQR member in Hangzhou, has recently visited our office in order to get an in-depth knowledge of FreightViewer and contribute to its improvement.

Bruce states: “FreightViewer is different from other online rates tools, as it is a member-exclusive privilege […] members are able to share their costs with each other, we are able to have rates and local information, working as a global forwarder” In addition, Bruce Li, offered different suggestions to be implemented within the tool such as specific policy regulation for FreightViewer

Following our member’s statements, we are sure FreightViewer will enable all members of Conqueror to work in a different and more efficient way. The more users, the more useful  the Software will become.

CQR Chengdu starts weekly rail service to Europe

Their regular rail console service was launched in August 2016 and marked a year of running.

Conqueror member in Chengdu, has recently started a weekly rail service from China to Warsaw (Poland), Hamburg (Germany), Rotterdam (Holland) and Budapest (Hungary).

Utilizing Chinese government’s infrastructure for the “New Silk Road”, Air Sea Transport Inc. has launched its professional railway services. The “New Silk Road” was announced in 2013 to facilitate overland and maritime trade between China, Europe, Middle East and Central Asia. As a result,  there are many different routes already established.

Adding to those, Air Sea Transport Inc. has started weekly rail routes from China to Poland, Germany, Holland, Hungary or Czech Republic, among other European cities. To achieve this, they can use any service to deliver the cargo like the truck, rail, barge, air etc.

 

Rail proves to be more advantageous over sea and air in many ways. Although air is faster, it is quite expensive and sea freight takes too long. This is especially true for all cargos between northern mainland China and Poland, Baltic area, East Europe, etc.

Rail comes across as the perfect solution which is not too expensive and also doesn’t take too long. Air Sea Transport Inc. also doesn’t take any local charges in Europe for their rail console unlike as for sea freight LCL which can turn out to be quite complicated and expensive. This helps save the customer from overcharge, etc. Not just that, for ease of customers, they can provide combination cargo services which is a mix of rail-air services and the freight is much lower than sea-air services.

However, as for all operations and logistics, there are many other factors to be considered for rail services as well like rail terminals being away from warehouses, lack of experienced resources, etc. The best thing about Air Sea Transport rail services are that since they have been established for the past 5 years, they have gained considerable edge and experience in handling all these matters efficiently.
