They collaborated with CQR Manchester to successfully execute this prestigious project
Van Moer Logistics, Conqueror member in Antwerp, Belgium, has recently transported an artwork shipment from the UK to France. The artwork by Antony Gormley called SITE will be permanently installed in the mountains in L’Aiguillon, in La Meije France. The intention of the installation is to celebrate life, love and friendship and offer something to inspire the local community. The statue made out of cast iron weighed 915 kg. Conqueror Antwerp airlifted the sculpture and transported it safely to the mountains in La Grave. “We are proud to be in charge of this prestigious project involving the movement of this acclaimed sculpture. Moreover, I want to extend my thanks to CBI Global, our Conqueror partner in Manchester, who cooperated with us in every step of the process,” says Frank Van Geijt, the Commercial Manager of Van Moer Forwarding. According to the sculptor Antony Gormley, this sculpture is an attempt to materialize the love for the mountains. It will face the mountains across the valley. Moreover, it will be visible from all the nearby villages. He hopes that the artwork will become a centre of gravity for the local communities in the area. |
Congratulations to Van Moer Logistics and all the best for their future endeavours!
