The most challenging aspect of the project involved the movement of a 5-meter high, 155-ton cargo from China through Turkey to the destination in Tajikistan
According to Siddique Khan, CEO of Globalink, “The overland segment of the cargo’s voyage from Bautino Port, navigating the challenging mountainous terrains of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan, demanded tailored transport solutions. Moreover, we showcased our logistical ingenuity by employing specialized multi-axel trailers, multiple 6×6 heavy-duty tractors, and extensive civil works to ensure the safe passage of the cargo.”
Furthermore, upon reaching its destination in Tajikistan, Globalink’s team skillfully managed the import customs clearance, discharging and cargo installation. Their success in the Nurek Hydro Power Project affirmed its position as a project logistics leader, adept at navigating oversized and heavy-lift cargo through some of the most challenging terrains.
